On Your Side: A Farewell to MGM
Tomorrow is the last day of Middle Grade March! We hope you’ve found joy in your reading this month—maybe even scored a bingo—as well as useful resources to serve your family in finding new stories for your readers. We’ve sure had a blast spending time on the middle grade genre our team loves so much. Thank you for joining us.
The giveaway from earlier this month runs until tomorrow night, so it’s not to late to jump in over there. If you are a winner, you will hear from us either via email or in your DMs.
And a Welcome to Holy Week
The rest of this week is going to be quieter, as our noisy March celebrations have taken us right into Holy Week. We’d like to remind you of this post of recommended resources for families this week. This poem and video is a great thing to revisit, also.
However you are honoring the holiday, we pray you and your family are able to take some time to reflect on the goodness of God in the death and resurrection of his Son, the Lord Jesus.
Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.
But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
I Corinthians 15:3-8, 20-22
