What Does Your Heart Need This Summer?

David and Barbara Leeman share a summer project that will make your heart sing.

  • Is yearning for Heaven a form of escapism?
    Honestly? No, not at all!
Christ has told us to long for it. He knows the pain that a world of sin brings and desires to guide us through our trials and be our faithful Savior. We can take great comfort in the fact that ultimately He wants to provide our release from sin’s horrors by taking us to Heaven in His time.

Imaginative Books like Alice in Wonderland

Erica at What Do We Do All Day introduces new books!

  • If your kids love Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass they are not alone. Master Your Moments and Master Your Days

Tim Challies encourages us honor God in the nitty gritty of daily life.

It is good to be a faithful steward of whatever God has given to us and it is good to strategize ways to maximize every gift.

Cultivating Flavor

Sarah Dixon Young leans into the lessons of the herb garden.

  • My little pots of rosemary, dill, lavender, aloe, and thyme bring me great joy.
I’ve never been much of an herb person, but last year, my brother taught me how to use thyme while seasoning steaks, and I’ve never looked back.
While the swirling North Dakota winter turns everything white, gray, brown, and dull outside my window, I nourish and water the vibrant, green, aromatic herb garden inside my heated garage. It’s like hoarding a treasure trove of summer though all the rest of the season has passed away.
