It’s May, and if tradition holds, your calendar is getting full. In my family we’ve got a graduation coming up, plus Mother’s Day, trips out of town, preparation for recitals and finals, and all the rest. The garden is gathering weeds but it will have to wait!

Contributor Jessica Burke ruminates on the Curious George series as a lesson in dependence and love. “When my toddlers—even my teens—sin, they need to know that their sin doesn’t change my love for them. Both when I’m correcting and when everything seems to be going as it should, it is good for me to tell my kids that what they do doesn’t affect how I love them.”
