Beyond the boundaries of this Earth,
And past the bright blue sky,
Lie many wonders unimaginable,
By any one mind’s eye.
But in the dark sky men have seen,
Since they first gazed into the night,
The Creator’s magnificent handiwork,
Shining ever so bright.
In recent times, we have progressed,
And made instruments with care,
So that one can see much deeper still,
Those marvels beyond compare.
Glowing with gentle majesty,
So delicate and grand,
Amazing beauties so great and free,
Formed by God’s own hand.
For every generation,
They stay right in their place
This realm of beauty out of this world,
We simply call it “space.”
