Sharing Stories
[January 2026]
Hello! We have been following the Green Ember saga since the beginning! We’ve read all of the stories as read aloud as a family and we love them!
Last March, our neighbor and fire chief for our small town suffered a massive stroke. When he finally returned home in the fall, he had very limited vision and limited speech, though his hearing and comprehension were still good. My children love our dear neighbor and we began going once or twice each week to take turns reading to him. The girls read short stories and choose your own adventure books to him and asked me to start the Green Ember series with him. He loved it all! Sadly, on January 19, he passed away after suffering a second stroke. We would love to purchase a brand new hard copy of The Green Ember and have you sign it in memory of [him] to his wife….
Thank you for your time, dedication to great stories, and hard work!

Thank you so much! The book arrived yesterday and we walked it over to our neighbors. What a precious gift. [She] was so touched by your generosity and the message you wrote. Thank you again. May God continue to bless you abundantly!
