Middle Grade March: Welcome!

This month we’re taking time to celebrate the middle grade genre we love so well. We’ve got resources, deals, and giveaways planned all month long to help you nurture your young reader. Welcome to Middle Grade March!

Whether it’s encouraging that reluctant reader to try reading one more time or finding new stories to feed the voracious reader’s endless appetite, we want to walk with you through the month of March to make reading a little easier and a whole lot of fun.

To kick off the event, we’ve got Story Warren’s Middle Grade March Bingo cards!

  • The Beloved Book card features some well-loved middle grade titles.
  • The Prompts card features common elements found in middle grade stories.
  • The Story Warren card features prompts that can be found specifically in our Story Warren books.

    1. I’m excited to check out the beloved bingo card. My kids love Green Ember and I’d like to find more stories they can fall in love with.

  1. I love middle grade books! I love researching and finding great books to recommend to this group of kids we’ll start with the beloved book bingo card! So fun!

  2. Reading bingo cards are so fun! We are going to start with the prompts bingo card and then the beloved books card. I have three kiddos who will be using these. I think it would be fun to try this on my youngest as well to encourage him to find some beginner books that may match with the descriptions.

  23. I love reading, and I spend more time than necessary doing it. I will be starting with the Beloved Books Bingo card because that will give me some more books to read, and encouragement to reread some old favorites.

  24. Middle-Grade books, my beloved. I\’ll probably start with the prompts bingo card just because I read a bunch of the \”beloved books\” from December-January, but I might use some of them as ideas to fill the prompts. I\’ve been wanting to try Inkheart for a while now.

My eldest is a voracious reader and I always appreciate the lists you all offer to keep giving us ideas of new titles to add to our library!

    1. The cards all look amazing, so it was difficult to choose. I chose the Beloved Books card to start off after some time of profound thought! I love Story Warren books; the rabbit holding a book will always have a special place in my heart.

    Better than March Madness.

    My littles and I will take on the Beloved Book Bingo Challenge. My oldest is in the middle grade bracket and she chose the Story Warren Bingo Card.

    I can’t wait to get started!!!

  61. We are starting with the Prompts bingo card to include our readers of several ages. All three cards look wonderful. I think a few of our readers could make several \’bingos\’, commentary included, before ever reading a book in March. That will be fun for them to talk about.

  73. We are doing all 3! I have two middle grade readers and then 2 up and coming readers so the big boys will each pick a card and the little boys will do one together.   96. I have 2 boys in the middle school age range and we will start with the story Warren bingo and the beloved books bingo. We just finished the last battle from chronicles of Narnia as our family read aloud and will use your bingo card to start another one with the whole family.
