I Was the Snow
When I melted,
you couldn’t understand it.
You walked through me
to check the mail everyday.
You balled me up to throw
at your friends in a game.
You mixed me with sugar
to feed your sisters.
But I was the snow
and I thought you could see
the toll the sun was taking on me.

What a beautiful poem! It makes the snow a much more sympathetic character. I have been so sad when the snow melts lately. I love when it falls fast & hard and kind of tucks of in. So, I really feel this poem currently!
