Michael Somerville lives in the shadow of an extinct Virginia volcano with his wife, three lovely daughters, and one slightly-neurotic mini-Aussie. As a lifelong learner, homeschool father, project manager, Childrens' Church teacher, and multi-modal storyteller, Michael uses stories in his home, workplace, church, and on the printed page to encourage, educate, and uplift those he serves. He plays multiple instruments, is an amateur craftsman (blacksmith, bladesmith, leatherworker, and woodworker), draws his own illustrations, and enjoys composing original poetry.
