Hello Friends,
My name is Ming and, in light of the recent excitement that has been going on around here, I thought it might be fun to have a contest so you can take part in the merrymaking.
My fine friend Sam (S.D. Smith) has written a book, The Green Ember, which will be available for your reading pleasure in the next few months. It’s being published by Andrew Mackay/Story Warren and illustrated by Zach Franzen! A very important feature of this this book is that it has rabbits…with swords!
We aren’t going to have a showdown, or any duels that involve real rabbits or real swords, but we will have a contest where you will brandish pencils, wield paper, and parry with pens.
Grab your weapon of choice, put your imagination to work, and show me your most creative:
– stories
– drawings
– poems
– videos
– any other rabbity display of imagination that includes rabbits…with swords!
Excellent prizes will be awarded as the winners are announced on Friday, November 7th.
We’ll choose what we think is The Very Most Awesome Entry and also a pick a Random Winner From Among the Entries.
I look forward to seeing all of your creations!
Happy imagining,
Ming
