This is a podcast called Read-Aloud Revival, hosted by a new friend of mine, Sarah Mackenzie. An old friend, Sarah Clarkson, is the guest on this episode and it’s a doozie. So much of the wisdom Sarah shares is in harmony with what we’re aiming at here at Story Warren. I think you’ll find it both informative and inspiring. In keeping with our aim for Wednesdays to be about resources, this is a dandy.
Listen here!
We’re grateful for Sarah(s) sharing this with us.

How I first heard of Sarah Mackenzie was through our friends at the Circe Institute sharing a portion of her excellent work on Teaching From a State of Rest. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you homeschool.
(In full disclosure, I’m scheduled to appear on Read-Aloud Revival in the near future. But I was a fan first. And don’t worry about me, I’m not intimidated at all by these smart people. Really. Believe me.)

I just took a listen – lots of wonderful gems in this conversation! Thanks Sarah.
Sam, Thanks so much for posting this! Sarah Clarkson is one of my favorite people, so of course I’m always glad to feed on her words. And I met Sarah Mackenzie in May at a Circe Institute conference here in the Northwest. I knew she was a kindred spirit then, but even more so now that you’ve introduced me to her Read-Aloud Revival podcast. (Reading aloud is one of my very favorite things about being a mom!) Thank you!
